IA News- 24.3 Highlights

CrossFit Open 24.3 and Last Night of FNL
Big congrats to all of our athletes that competed in the CrossFit Open 2024! We also want to thank everyone in the community who came out to Friday Night Lights over the last 3 weeks to throw down, to judge, and to cheer on your fellow athletes. This is what makes the CrossFit community so special.

Congratulations Hana Machover, Grant Zaro, and Team!

Because of their tremendous comeback performance in this year’s CF Open, Hana and team (Grant Zaro, Shannon McGuire, and Niall Hannagen) have made the cut off to qualify for Quarter Finals in pursuit of a spot at the CrossFit Games this August! The team was in 86th place (only 84 teams continue on) at 7pm Monday night when scores were due at 8pm. Grant came in and retested, beat his score and bumped the team up to 84th place! They will have to compete in Team Quarter Finals April 3 - 9. Based on last year, this will be 5 workouts completed as a team but, the actual number of workouts has not been released by CF HQ yet. Be sure to give these athletes a fist bump when you see them around the gym and wish them luck! We are proud to have them reppin’ CrossFit Federal Hill!

Extra Open Gym Times this Saturday.

This will be the last Saturday for extended open gym hours (12pm - 2pm). Thank you again for your support in the community.
